CAD Technicians are an essential part of the business. They are responsible for the creation and implementation of field work into a digital drawings and files. Communication skills are valued as drafters work closely with field crew, clients, and engineers to ensure the accuracy of survey drawings. Experience or education on computer drafting is required.

Specific Duties and Requirements Include:

• Must be proficient with computers and PDF software.

• Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements.

• Able to multitask on several drafting projects. 

• Basic math competency and reading skills. 

• Experience with computer aided design software such as AutoCAD.

• Familiar with various types  of engineering and architectural plans. 

• Knowledge of permitting and legal requirements for Civil Engineering and/or Land Surveying.

• Communication with clients, engineers, field crew, etc.
